Our youth in 2007 helped raise funds, deliver food, and presents for the Farmworkers. Thanks to our members for raising over $5000 to purchase a van for the Farmworkers Ministry in Auburndale (see above)

 

In addition to meeting in the youth room each Sunday morning, our upcoming plans for 2008 include a mentoring program (like a big brothers and sisters program for the younger kids in our church), a new program called Pennies for Pencils (a Lutheran World Relief program to gather school supplies for children returning to school after the disruption of war), and work on a puppet ministry! All this in addition to bowling, roller skating, or hanging out.
